Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Relations
President Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Saudi Arabia Tawfiq bin Fawzaan Al-Rabiani and members of his delegation today.
Welcoming the guests, Aliyev said the visit is important for the development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.
He noted good opportunities for mutual investments and joint projects in agriculture, petrochemical industry, tourism, construction and other fields.
In turn, Tawfiq Al-Rabiani said that on the instructions of the King of Saudi Arabia he brought a large delegation of businessmen with him. He also noted that the trade relations between the two countries are not up to par. -16D-

Ten activists from the National Front Party, detained on Monday outside the Nasimi District Court, were reportedly beaten at the 20th police station of the Nasimi district in Baku.
