Washington D.C./08.11.23/Turan: U.S. Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Lou Bono is currently in the region, for the second time in a month, to discuss Washington's support for the peace process, TURAN's Washington correspondent reports.
The State Department on Wednesday did not offer specifics of the trip.
However, when asked by TURAN's Washington correspondent, Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel told the daily briefing: "When we engage on these issues, what we bring at the forefront is our desire and hope to see peace between these two countries and a durable peace in the South Caucasus"
Bono's trip to the region came as Azerbaijan held a military parade in Nagorno-Karabakh on Wednesday.
