Azerbaijan can help African countries in the extraction and export of oil and gas
Baku/26.07.18/Turan: Issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the African Union were discussed on Wednesday at a meeting of Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov with the African Union Energy Commissioner Amani Abu-Zeid.
According to the message of the Cabinet, the sides noted the importance of organizing a high-level dialogue and exchange visits, concluding bilateral treaties between Azerbaijan and the African Union.
Mammadov noted the great potential for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the African Union in various sectors of the economy, in particular, in the extraction and export of oil and gas. Noting that in 2019-2022 Azerbaijan will chair the Non-Aligned Movement, Mammadov expressed the opinion that this would allow expanding ties with African countries. During the conversation, an exchange of views on the development of relations in the field of aviation, petro chemistry, export of innovations, humanitarian and other spheres was also held. -02D-
