Azerbaijan Ends Cooperation with USAID
On July 1, 2024, USAID's activities in Azerbaijan were officially terminated, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, announced during today's press conference.
"It is time to end USAID's activities in Azerbaijan. During negotiations, we saw that the United States does not take Azerbaijan's interests into account, and instead seeks to act in its own interests by dictating terms. The continued presence and representation of USAID in Azerbaijan is no longer necessary, and it is time to completely terminate its activities," the minister said.
