Azerbaijan has filed a second complaint to the ECHR against Yerevan's refusal to provide maps of minefields
Baku/04.06.21/Turan: Azerbaijan has again sent an interstate complaint to the European Court of Human Rights due to Armenia's refusal to provide maps of minefields.
The complaint was filed again due to the refusal of the Armenian authorities to provide the maps after the signing of the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020.
Azerbaijan's permanent representative to the ECHR, Chingiz Askerov noted that Armenia's refusal to provide maps of the minefields was groundless, and it pursues the only goal – to preserve the life threatening of the Azerbaijani population.
"We once again demand that Armenia should provide maps of the mined territories and other relevant information, as well as comply with its obligations under the international law," he said in a press commentary. -02D-
