Azerbaijan has sent humanitarian aid in the form of electrical equipment to Ukraine
Baku/21.11.23/Turan: On November 21, Azerbaijan sent a new batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, consisting of electrical equipment. According to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, the electrical equipment was sent to Ukraine in accordance with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated July 17, 2023.
"The humanitarian cargo includes more than 900 thousand meters of electrical cables and wires, as well as 18 transformers and complete transformer substations," the message says. On November 21, a convoy of 23 trucks with humanitarian aid left the territory of the Sumgait Technological Park.
According to the ministry, the next batches of electrical equipment will be sent in the subsequent period. Recall that the first part of the electrical equipment was sent to Ukraine on October 30.
The total amount of humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine is more than 33 million US dollars. 154 Ukrainian children who suffered from the war and lost their family members underwent medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation in Azerbaijan.
The secondary school "Linguist" named after Zarifa Aliyeva, destroyed as a result of military operations in the city of Irpen, has been completely restored. Azerbaijan has carried out a major restoration of a number of social facilities in this city. -0-
