Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey released
Baku/26.07.21/Turan: President Ilham Aliyev signed an order that recalled Khazar Ibrahim from the post of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey.
Rashad Mammadov who previously served as the head of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan, has been appointed the new Ambassador to Ankara.
According to unofficial sources, Ibrahim is expected to be appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United States.
Also, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Washington, Elin Suleymanov will head the diplomatic mission in London.—06D-

A preparatory hearing in the case of former leaders of the Karabakh separatists began the day before at the Baku Court Complex. The case is being heard by a panel of judges chaired by Zeynal Agayev, the judge of the Baku Military Court.The accused were provided with lawyers and Armenian language interpreters, AZERTAC reported. Six prosecutors participated in the court session as state representatives.
