Azerbaijani and Georgian Defence Ministers sign agreement on military cooperation
Baku/24.04.23/Turan: On April 24, Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov received Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
The sides discussed peace and security issues in the region, expansion of cooperation in military, military-technical, military-educational fields and other issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
Prospects for bilateral and trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia were also discussed, and there was a detailed exchange of views on intensifying joint exercises and working meetings.
To conclude, an agreement on defence cooperation between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Georgia was signed, the press service of the Ministry of Defence reported. -0-
