Azerbaijani authorities close Iranian Cultural Representation in Baku
Baku/02.06.23/Turan: Tehran reacted moderately to the Azerbaijani authorities' decision to close the Iranian Cultural Mission in Baku.
"Iran has always had good intentions in relations with its neighbours and wants to resolve problems between the two countries through dialogue and by avoiding illogical, emotional and tension-raising actions," reads the comment of an unnamed Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman published by IRNA news agency.
Iran considers Baku's actions as "unilateral and hasty," believing that all issues could have been resolved through "dialogue.
Official Baku has not yet made a statement on the matter.
