Azerbaijani Defense Ministry accused Armenians of misinformation
Baku/24.09.22/Turan: The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan denied the report of the Armenian Defense Ministry on provocation by the Azerbaijani army.
According to the Armenian side, "on September 23, at about 19:30, one of the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces carried out provocation trying to get the rear of one of the Armenian combat positions located in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border zone."
According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, "the enemy was pushed back to their original positions."
As of 10:00 on September 24, the situation is relatively stable, the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
However, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry called this message by the Armenian side misinformation of provocative nature.
"The message spread by the Armenian Defense Ministry about the alleged provocation carried out by units of the Azerbaijani army is completely groundless and false. We categorically refute this information. We declare that this is another misinformation of the enemy, which has provocative nature," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement.
It has to be kept in mind that the message of the Armenian Defense Ministry appeared after Azerbaijan reported the wounding of its three soldiers on the Kelbajar direction the night before.-06B-
