Azerbaijani Defense Ministry: Criminals are the Armenian authorities
The Press Service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry responded to the statement by the Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan that Azerbaijan uses criminal elements as saboteurs. In his assertion Ohanian tried to confirm the detention in Kalbajar of two former residents of the area, which he said "violated the state border of Armenia."
In this regard, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said that Kalbajar is internationally recognized as Azerbaijani territory and citizens have the right to go there and move there freely.
As regards the allegations of the Armenian side on the use of criminal elements by Azerbaijan for reconnaissance and sabotage, they are unfounded.
Criminal elements are the leaders of Armenia and personally Ohanyan, who is guilty of war crimes in Karabakh. The time will come and he and other perpetrators of these crimes will be brought to justice, the statement said.
In conclusion, the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan reports that the country's armed forces have every opportunity to perform any combat mission or operations without the involvement of civilians. -02D-
