Azerbaijani Defense Ministry demands that peacekeepers stop illegal actions in Karabakh
Baku/11.03.23/Turan: Technical control means of the Azerbaijani armed forces have detected movement of military equipment with personnel of Armenian armed Forces and illegal armed units of Karabakh accompanied by Russian peacekeeping contingent along the Khankandi-Khalfali-Turshsu road. This was reported by the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry on March 11.
The released video shows a Russian armored personnel carrier with a flag escorting the movement of Armenian military equipment along the indicated route.
"The movement of military supplies from Armenia to the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan must be immediately stopped, and the illegal Armenian armed formations must be disarmed as soon as possible and withdrawn from our territory.
The commanders of the Russian peacekeeping contingent temporarily deployed in the territory of Azerbaijan must understand their responsibility in this process and obligatorily fulfil the commitments they have undertaken.
Such illegal actions, which take place regularly, make it necessary to establish a checkpoint and control of Azerbaijan at the last border crossing point on the Azerbaijani-Armenian Lachin road," it was reported. -02D-
