Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry condemned resolution of French Lower House of Parliament
Baku/01.12.22/Turan: We strongly reject the resolution of the French National Assembly, as well as the resolution adopted by the Senate earlier.
It was stated in the statement of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry in response to the resolution adopted by the French National Assembly on November 30.
This document is "full of lies and slander against Azerbaijan" and damages "the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and establishment of peace in the region".
"The resolution contradicts the norms and principles of international law and demonstrates the biased position of France, which cannot be a neutral and fair mediator.
"At the hearing, a representative of the French government actually supported the resolution, which once again shows that the government of this country, which has recently been openly making anti-Azerbaijani initiatives on various platforms, is also behind this resolution."
For 25 years of mediation, France has failed to assess Armenia's aggression and occupation policy and has not sought a solution to the conflict.
"We strongly reject this resolution, as well as other provocative steps taken by France, including the resolution adopted earlier by the Senate of this country," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement. -02D-
