At today's meeting of the Milli Majlis deputies from the party "Yeni Azerbaijan" expressed disappointment that President of Turkey, Abdullah Gul, congratulated his Armenian counterpart with another victory in the elections.
The deputy executive secretary of Mubariz Gurbanli noted a large number of violations and fraud during the elections in Armenia. Speaker of the Parliament Oktay Asadov ironically noted that, the European observers considered constructive the present elections with an attack on one candidate compared to previous elections, when people died.
It is noteworthy that the deputies justified their views by the conclusions of Western observers. Those who were criticized for lack of objectivity when they talked about the abuse of elections and democracy in Azerbaijan. -17D—

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. During the mentioned period, the police found 1 machine gun, 50 grenades, 7 fuses, 3 shells and 320 cartridges of different calibre in Shusha.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
