Turnover of drugs and advertising will be controlled

At today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis, changes were made to the law "On medicines". The Ministry of Healthcare will be responsible for the new law, which provides for labeling of drugs by control holograms.

According to the chairman of the parliamentary committee for social policy, Hadi Rajabli, this legislative measure is aimed at protecting the rights of producers, and will serve as the control of safety and quality of drugs in circulation.

The parliament also adopted changes to the Law "On Advertising", limiting self-promotion of private health care entities. Justifying this step, Rajabli noted that the advertisement of private medical institutions can not be unchecked. He believes the executive authority (Ministry of Health) is more responsible and aware of which of the private clinics can advertise their services. --17D—
