Azerbaijani President Receives Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia
Baku / 23.10.18 / Turan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev on Tuesday.
Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan and Russia, as friendly countries, are actively cooperating in all areas. From this point of view, the head of state expressed satisfaction with the very effective cooperation between the two Ministries of the interior, the website of the President of Azerbaijan reports.
In turn, Kolokoltsev noted that the holding of five meetings between the heads of state over the past year demonstrates the importance of further strengthening the strategy for developing relations between the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan. At the same time, the documents signed by the heads of the Caspian littoral states in in Aktau, Kazakhstan in August of this year also gave an additional impetus for the interaction of the law enforcement agencies.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on the prospects for cooperation. -06D--

According to a report by Turan correspondent, the discussions took place behind closed doors and lasted for over an hour. No statements were made to the press following the meeting. Furthermore, conference security prevented journalists from asking questions to the meeting participants.
