Azerbaijani President Receives US Delegation
Baku / 29.05.19 / Turan: Today the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a US delegation led by First Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the US Department of State Energy Resources Bureau Kent Logsdon.
The head of state thanked for the letter sent by US President Donald Trump, regarding it as "an indicator of our strong partnerships." He highly appreciated the fact that over the past few days two letters were addressed by the President of the United States.
Logsdon, expressing satisfaction at the participation in the 24th International Exhibition and Conference "Caspian Oil and Gas - 2019", conveyed congratulations on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of this important event.
Touching upon the significance of the 24th International Exhibition and Conference "Oil and Gas of the Caspian Sea - 2019" held in Azerbaijan, Aliyev stressed that the event has attracted the attention of leading companies in the world for many years. He noted the importance of a broad view of the United States of America.
During the conversation they exchanged views on the implementation of the Southern Gas Corridor project, the prospects for cooperation in the field of energy, renewable energy, and business. -06D--
