Baku/24.09.22/Turan: Representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora held a rally in front of the UN headquarters in New York yesterday to protest against the provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces on the border with Azerbaijan on September 12-13.
The participants of the rally with flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey and posters reflecting the facts about the Armenian aggression demanded tough measures from the UN for the complete withdrawal of occupation troops from the territory of Azerbaijan in compliance with Security Council resolutions.
The rally lasted two hours where the New York police ensured the safety of the Azerbaijanis. -0-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times. According to relatives, the police conducted a search of her apartment.
