Azerbaijan"s Foreign Ministry accuses the French mayor
The visit of Marlene Mourier, the mayor of the French town of Bourg-les-Valence in the occupied Karabakh, and the signing the Declaration on the twinning of his city from the occupied Azerbaijani town of Shusha, is contrary to the law and to the mediation mission of Paris in the settlement the Karabakh conflict, reads the comment of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s press service in connection with a visit of Mourier to Nagorno-Karabakh.
Official Baku regarded these actions on the eve of the meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Paris, at the initiative of the President of France, as a provocation, inspired by the Armenian lobby.
The French mayor who by his contacts with the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh regime encourages separatism, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity, should be aware of the responsibility to his electors.
From the comments of the press service of Foreign Ministry, it is not clear whether Mourier is included the black list of persons who are prohibited from entering Azerbaijan. This list includes all who visit Nagorno-Karabakh without the consent of Baku.-06D-
