Azerbaijans Judo Federation: Armenian Judoists Received Security Guarantees
Baku / 06.09.18 / Turan: The assertions of the Armenian side that Azerbaijan did not guarantee the safety of judoists of this country at the World Championship, which will be held in Baku, do not correspond to reality. This was stated in the Azerbaijani Judo Federation.
According to the same source, the Azerbaijani authorities at the state level guaranteed the safety of all sports delegations, including athletes, coaches and technical personnel, including Armenia.
In early August, the Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov sent a letter with guarantees of the security of delegations to the International Judo Federation.
National teams wishing to participate in the competitions were registered, but Armenia was not declared.
Recall that the World Championship in judo will be held in Baku from September 20 to 27. -06D--
