Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General calls on foreign colleagues to investigate attacks on the country's diplomatic missions
Baku / 24.07.20 / Turan: The Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev appealed to the prosecutors of foreign countries and regions with an appeal to investigate the attacks of Armenians on the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis.
Regarding these events, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev addressed official appeals to the US Attorney General William Bar, California State Attorney General Xavier Becerra, general prosecutors of Paris Remy Heitz and Brussels Johan Delmulle.
The appeals noted that on July 21 and 22, numerous members of the radical Armenian community, supporters and followers of the terrorist group ASALA, committed acts of vandalism against the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan and its citizens. As a result, Azerbaijani peaceful protesters received injuries of varying degrees.
Calling for the safety of the diplomatic representatives of Azerbaijan and its citizens, the Prosecutor General called on them to ensure that law enforcement agencies will conduct an objective, complete and thorough investigation of the events and all appropriate and necessary measures being taken to bring perpetrators to justice. - 06D-
