Baku and Yerevan should resume meetings to agree on a peace treaty – Mirzoyan
Baku/12.13.23/Turan: Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan called for the resumption of meetings between representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"I think Azerbaijan should return to the negotiating table, to the process of meetings. In fact, most of the work has been done, we need to meet and agree on the final wording of the peace agreement," Mirzoyan said at a press conference in Yerevan on Wednesday.
Among the issues discussed by the parties, he also named the mutual withdrawal of troops from the Armenian-Azerbaijani interstate border.
"We believe that the withdrawal of troops will have a positive effect and will help prevent further escalation," Mirzoyan said.-0-
