Second meeting of the Advisory Council of the Muslims of CIS and a conference "The Muslims of the CIS - the supporters of peace and stability" will be held on April 16-17 at the Palace "Gulistan".
The opening event will be held at 10 am on 16 April, and will be completed by 20 pm on the same day.The next day, the participants will visit Mosques in the capital, and will have a series of meetings.

On February 6, 2025, the Khatai District Court of Baku decided to place journalist Shahnaz Beylyargizi under arrest for three months and 15 days. According to lawyer Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, Beylyarghizi has been charged with the same accusations as the previously arrested journalists and activists in the Toplum TV case. However, Beylyargizi is being prosecuted in a separate case.
