Border Service Received New Patrol Ship
Baku / 01.24.19 / Turan: On Thursday, a new border patrol ship Tufan S-206 entered combat duty in the Caspian Sea, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan reported.
The new ship is equipped with modern navigation and radio equipment. Missile and anti-missile systems, night vision systems and hydro-acoustic devices are installed on board.
The length of the patrol ship is 62 meters. It is also equipped with high-speed boats and a helipad.
The new ship will perform the functions of protecting the state border in the border waters and ensuring the safety of oil and gas infrastructure.
It should be noted that the new ship was built at the Shipbuilding Center of the Coast Guard of the State Border Service. -02D-
