BP plans its work in Azerbaijan after 2024
On Thursday Ilham Aliyev discussed with the President of BP Robert Dudley, the prospects of cooperation in the field "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" after 2024, when the deadline of the "Contract of the Century"completes.
The head of BP said that the company is interested in further development of this field, which will make new investments and production of a large amount of oil, located deeper than layers now being developed. The meeting also discussed issues related to the implementation of the "Shah Deniz-2" project and work on the prospective structure "Shafag Asiman". -02D-

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
