Baku / 21.09.18 / Turan: A solemn meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijani parliament was opened in the Milli Majlis on Friday.
The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is taking part in the event.
It should be noted that the heads of the following parliaments arrived in Baku to participate in this event: Turkey, Djibouti, Pakistan, Kuwait, Oman, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, and OSCE PA.

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times. According to relatives, the police conducted a search of her apartment.
