A century of the Azerbaijani parliament, a mess in the parking of cars in the capital, and the role of the dollar in the economy are the themes of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan continues to write about the centennial anniversary of the Azerbaijani parliament. The author gives the opinions of MPs about the history of its creation, its activities in different periods, and about the 70-year-old Soviet period.
The website Modern.az writes about illegal collection of money in the parking lots of the capital. The author reminds of the decree of the head of the state signed on July 6 of this year about car parking in unauthorized places. In this regard, electronic protocols will be compiled.
The Baku Transport Agency is entrusted with the installation of appropriate equipment that has the ability to video and photo registration. All parking lots in the capital have been transferred to this agency, but the acceptance procedure has not yet been completed. Previously, parking was in charge of the city's executive power.
The website Qafqazinfo.az discusses the possibility of abandoning the dollar. This is the opinion of the main economic partners of Azerbaijan - Russia, Iran, and Turkey.
However, there are no real steps. Experts consider such statements mostly emotional, and not based on a rational approach with a realistic assessment of the economic situation.--0-----
