Chief of General Staff of Azerbaijani Armed Forces at NATO Military Committee meeting
Chief of General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army Kerim Veliyev attended the meeting of the NATO Military Committee in Brussels in the format of Chiefs of General Staff of the Alliance member states.
The Defence Ministry's press service reported that Veliyev spoke at the event, talking about the prospects of cooperation with the NATO and participation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the operation ‘Resolute Support’, other operations of the Alliance.
Veliyev emphasised that Azerbaijan, which has restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty, is ready to make an even greater contribution to international peace and security.
Veliyev also held a number of meetings with colleagues from other countries.
