Co-Chairs of OSCE Minsk Group in Karabakh
The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group met Tuesday with the leader of the Karabakh separatists Bako Sahakyan in Khankendi.
As the Armenian media reported, following the meeting, the Russian co-chairman Igor Popov said the co-chairs informed Sahakyan about their talks with Aliyev and Sargsyan.
The meeting discussed a number of topics: one of them is the implementation of the agreements reached at the summits in Vienna and St. Petersburg, he said.
“We listened to the position of each side. We will continue this conversation in Vienna, at a meeting of the Minsk Group. We also expect to meet with the OSCE leadership. We have plans to meet with the High Level Planning Group,” Popov said.
He gave a negative answer to the question whether the issue of connecting Nagorno-Karabakh to the talks was discussed.
“Today we discussed the expansion of the Kasprzyk group. You know that an agreement has been reached to increase his group by seven people. There are also a number of technical issues. Today Andrzej Kasprzyk outlined his vision of how this can be done. This will be one of the topics that we will discuss in April, I hope,” the website News.am quoted Popov. -02D-
