Commander of the Georgian Armed Forces discussed issues of intensifying joint military exercises in Baku
Baku/20.02.23/Turan: On February 20, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Kerim Veliyev met with the commander of the Georgian Defense Forces Giorgi Matiashvili, who arrived in Baku on an official visit.
During the talks at the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the military delegations of the two countries discussed issues of further strengthening cooperation in the military, military-technical fields, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
They also considered the prospects for trilateral military cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia, as well as "increasing the intensity of joint exercises and working meetings."
The Georgian delegation also visited the Combat Command Center of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, where they got acquainted with the structure of the center and the principle of the Center's work. --02D---
