Conference of Business Circles of Great Britain and Azerbaijan in London (UPDATED)
The Trade Envoy of the British Prime Minister Baroness Nicholson today during the meeting with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev offered to host a joint conference of financial institutions of the two countries in London next spring. In her view, the participation of the head of state raised the importance of this event.
She also informed about the interest of the London Stock Exchange in establishing a full-scale partnership with Azerbaijan.
Aliyev, for his part, stated the importance of diversification of Azerbaijan's economy and it is one of the objectives of the government, especially in the current situation with the oil price. -06D--

President Ilham Aliyev on November 28 received the trade envoy of British Prime Minister Baroness Nicholson. The official statement does not reveal the content of the meeting, but it is not difficult to guess that it was bilateral economic ties.
The President also met with the Vice President of CISCO Michael Ganser. CISCO is an American multinational company that develops and sells network equipment for large enterprises and telecommunications companies.
