Council of Turkic-speaking states supported Kazakhstan
Baku/06.01.22/Turan: The Organization of Turkic States expressed its readiness to support the people and government of Kazakhstan. The member countries rely on the prudence of the Kazakh people and express confidence in the speedy normalization of the situation in this country, the statement of the organization.
“We believe that the Kazakh authorities have all the levers to remove tension by peaceful means and restore order and calm. We declare our readiness to provide the necessary support to the people and government of Kazakhstan,” the document says.
Kazakhstan, along with Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, is a member of the Organization of Turkic States. Turkmenistan and Hungary are observer countries.
The Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States was founded in 2009 and renamed in November 2021 following the results of the summit in Istanbul. -02D-
