Creation of Eurasian Association of law enforcement agencies
The founding meeting of the Eurasian Association of police with military status took place on 25 January in Baku. The meeting was held with the participation of Turkish Gendarmerie commander, Bekir Kalyonchu, commander of the Internal Troops of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, the commander of the Internal Troops of Kyrgyzstan, Sovetbek Arbayev.
The purpose of the new organization is to expand the cooperation between the relevant agencies of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, as well as exchange of experience in training and management.
The meeting resulted in signing a Memorandum of Understanding. -16D04-
