On Tuesday the head of the civil Movement "Republican Alternative" (REAL), Ilgar Mammadov was questioned for two hours in the Serious Crimes Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor Office on the events in Ismayilli.
In an interview with Turan, he said that he told investigation, that on January 24 he really was in Ismayilli region for getting acquainted with the situation and communicating with the local population.
The investigator said Mammadov that the investigation revealed that Mammadov had incited the citizens to disobedience and illegal activities, but Mammadov answered that it was "a fiction and a provocation."
Mamedov did not exclude that he was summoned to the investigation because of publication of the materials proving that the "Chirag" Hotel belonged to Vugar Alekperov, the son of Fizuli Alekperov, the Minister of Labor.—06В-
