Croatia wants to be participate in the "Southern Gas Corridor"
Baku/06.09.18/Turan: Croatia expects to strengthen economic cooperation with Azerbaijan. A big role in this is played a bilateral intergovernmental commission. Particular importance is attached to the field of pharmaceuticals and energy, announced today Croatian President Colinda Grabar Kitarovich in Zagreb at a joint briefing with Ilham Aliyev after signing bilateral documents.
According to Kitarovich, Baku agreed to establish a joint venture in the field of pharmaceuticals.
Another area - shipbuilding, discussed the issue of building six ships, as well as expanding cooperation in agriculture.
Croatia wants to be a participant in the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe and wants to build a terminal for liquefied gas on the Adriatic coast, she said. In response, Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is ready to expand trade relations with Croatia and implement joint projects in various fields.
Aliyev welcomed Zagreb's desire to participate in the "Southern Gas Corridor" project, which already involves 7 countries and which will ensure the energy security of Europe. -02D-
