Defense Minister on Shell That Hit House in Ganja
Baku / 18.06.19 / Turan: Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov admitted that the shell fired during the exercises of the national army hit a residential building in the city of Ganja.
In today's meeting with journalists, he said that "it was a training apparatus." If it was a war shell, then the victims would have been inevitable.
According to the Minister, the shell hit the house with a rebound from the cliff, flying about 18 km. In connection with this incident, the exercise was suspended. There is a commission in place that investigates the causes of the incident.
The Defense Ministry will compensate for the damage caused to the owner of the house, the Minister said. -06D-
