Defense Ministries of Azerbaijan and Italy Will Cooperate
In the framework of the official visit to Italy, the Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev held talks with his Italian counterpart Campaola Di Paola. As the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said, the sides discussed various aspects of bilateral relations.
Abiyev focused on the Karabakh conflict, stressing that Azerbaijan will do everything necessary to liberate its territories.
Following the talks, the sides signed a bilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of defense.
Abiyev today will visit a number of objects of the Italian defense industry and get acquainted with the arms and equipment produced there. -06D -

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
