Baku/12.11.13/Turan : Today, the CEC has stopped deputy powers of vice-president of the ruling party "Yeni Azerbaijan", Ali Akhmedov, due to his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.
Akhmedov was elected from the 19 th First Narimanov district.
There are two vacancies in Parliament: from the 110 th Zagatala constituency , whose MP Hikmat Atayev died tragically in a road accident on March 7; and 34 of the Second Khatai district (instead of Guler Akhmedova, resigned due to fraud scandal.)
According to the Electoral Code, within one month after the termination of the deputy powers, the CEC should appoint additional elections.—16D06-
