Eight young activists January 14 again summoned to the police
All the people detained during Saturday's protest in central Baku against non-combat losses in the army by the end of the day were released from the police department of the capital.
According to data from the opposition parties and human rights organizations the Sabail and Nasimi District Police Offices of Baku took about 40 people, which were released in the evening after the issuance of warnings to them.
At the same time, eight young activists were forced to sign an obligation to appear on January 14 in the Sabail district police. In this case, they were not told the reasons for this call to the police. In particular the obligation to appear before the police was taken from the activists of PFPA Abulfaz Gurbanli, Mamed Ibrahim, Tazakhan Miralamli, Baback Hasanov, head of the organization Free Youth Ulvi Hasanli, a board member of the youth movement Nida (Shout) Turgut Gambar, etc.
At the same time, as reported by the PFPA, the whereabouts of three young activists of the party - Tural Hassanzadeh, Sakhavat Mehdiyev and Vusal Bayramov, who were also arrested during the protest, remain unknown.
The Interior Ministry motivated police to stop this action because it was not coordinated with the Executive Power of Baku. In this case, the police department does not mention the number of the detained activists. -06B-
