Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov discussed on telephone with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu the situation in the country after an overnight coup attempt. Mammadyarov said that the events in brotherly Turkey are anxiously tracked in Azerbaijan, MFA press office reported. He condemned the attempt to overthrow the democratically elected government, and said about the unacceptability of this.
