Emir of Qatar Arrives in Azerbaijan
Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar arrived in Baku on the evening of March 7 on an official visit.
As the State Agency of Qatar reported, the Emir held talks with the President of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat on the morning of March 7. The subject of the negotiations was the issues of cooperation in energy, including oil and gas.
The sides also discussed issues of cooperation in international sporting events.
According to the same source, in Baku Emir Tamim bin Hamad will hold talks with President Aliyev. The topic of their negotiations will be the same - oil, gas and cooperation in international events such as the upcoming Islamic Games – 2017 in Baku. -02D-
