Ambassador to Iran Appointed to Latvia
By the order of the head of state, Javanshir Akhundov has been released from his duties as Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran and appointed Ambassador to Latvia.
Recall that the former Ambassador to Latvia Elman Zeynalov was revoked some time ago after a scandal with his wife, who was accused of attempting to bribe a local police officer. Official Baku did not comment on the allegations, but withdrew the Ambassador. -02D-
