The leader of the Movement "For the Sake of the Motherland" Abdul Abdulov has welcomed the appointment of Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice-President. As one of the initiators of this appointment in October 2016, Abdul Turan was told, that the appointment "will bring a new breath to the power." "Congratulating Mehriban Aliyeva with this appointment I'm talking about people's expectations of the beginning of the big reforms all over the country," said Abdul.
After the constitutional referendum, when were introduced the positions of Vice-president, Abdulov urged to appoint Mehriban Aliyeva the first vice-president.
It is noteworthy that for many years Abdulov was an ardent supporter of ex-president Ayaz Mutalibov and spoke openly against the government of Aliyevs.-05B-
