The deputy chairman of the youth organization of the party "Musavat" and Facebook activist , Faraj Kerimli has been arrested for three months. This decision was made by the Narimanov district court of Baku on July 24 , Turan was told by the lawyer Nemat Kerimli.
The activist was convicted without a lawyer, and the lawyer leaned about the court's decision only today in Prosecutor General's Office.
Kerimli was charged under the Article 234.4.3 of the Criminal Code (illegal purchase or possession of large scale drugs for sale.) The young man can be imprisoned from 5 to 12 years.
The investigation is conducted by the Chief Directorate to Combat Organized Crime of the Interior Ministry, the lawyer said.
Recently this agency "specializes" in the prosecution of young bloggers on charges of selling drugs.
This same agency considered the cases of bloggers Abilova Abdul, Rashad Agaaddina (Ramazanov), Elsever Mursalli. There was initially questioned blogger Omar Mamedov.
