Fifteen parties want to run in parliamentary elections
Baku / 20.12.19 / Turan: The CEC at the meeting on Friday registered the authorized representatives of four political parties: Takemul, Musavat, Social Welfare and Vahdat, who expressed a desire to participate in the February 9, 2020 parliamentary elections.
Prior to this, representatives of 11 political parties received registration: New Azerbaijan, Umid, Civil Solidarity, Great Creation, People’s Front of United Azerbaijan, National Revival, National Independence, Democratic Parties, Great Azerbaijan "," United Azerbaijan "and" Fatherland ". -02D-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
