Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Meets with OSCE MG in Paris
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov discussed Saturday in Paris the Karabakh settlement with the OSCE Minsk Group Co Ian Kelly (USA), Jacques Faure (France) and Igor Popov (Russia).
During the meeting, which was attended by the personal representative of the OSCE Chairman Andrzej Kasprzyk, Mammadyarov expressed concern about the situation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the co-chairs for their part also declared not admissible to maintain the existing status quo in the region.
As noted Mammadyarov, the unconstructive position of Armenia impedes settlement of the conflict.
He stressed the importance of the withdrawal of Armenian forces from the occupied Azerbaijani territories to advance the peace process and achieve the restoration of peace and stability in the region.
During the meeting, the need to continue efforts to resolve the conflict was expressed. -06D-
