Baku/30.08.22/Turan: On Tuesday, August 30, the military prosecutor's office of Armenia detained Mikael Arzumanyan, the former commander of the "Karabakh Self-Defense Army".
According to Armenian media reports, Arzumanyan was driving from Karabakh to Armenia, on the way his car was stopped, he was detained and taken into custody. The reason for the detention was not reported.
It should be noted that after the defeat in the Second Karabakh War, Arzumanyan became an adviser to the leader of the Karabakh separatists, Arayik Harutyunyan. It is known that Arzumanyan opposed the dissolution of the "Karabakh army" and repeatedly stated that this would never happen. ---02B--
