Frederic Mondolini was told about the illegality of the visit of the French delegation to Khankendi
Baku/16.09.21/Turan: Today the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received a delegation led by the Director of the Continental Europe Department of the French Foreign Ministry Frederic Mondoloni.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation in the region in the field of security, including the implementation of trilateral statements (between Azerbaijan, Armenia and the Russian Federation of November 10, 2020 and January 11, 2021 - Turan), cooperation with international organizations and other topics.
The parties also exchanged views on the agenda of Azerbaijani-French bilateral cooperation, noting the existing potential for the development of ties and mutual interest in this issue.
Minister Bayramov drew attention to the illegal visit of some members of the French National Assembly to Khankendi, stressing that such steps undermine the existing post-conflict peacebuilding efforts in the region.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting. — 06D-
