The case number S-2020/469 was launched after publication in the media about its illegal activities, said political emigrant Ramin Nagiyev from France.

The French police asks to inform information owners of the illegal activities of Elshad Abdullayev in Europe at:

Elshad Abdullayev himself rejects the charges brought against him by the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office of illegal trafficking in human organs and abuse of power.

These allegations are politically motivated and related to his investigation into the abduction of his brother Mahir Abdullayev in 2003, which established involvement in the abduction of high-ranking officials in the Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies. This was stated by Azad Mursaliev - Abdullayev’s nephew and head of the public committee for the protection of rights, Mahir Abdullayev.

The report of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan said that a criminal case had been initiated on the fact of illegal kidney transplants from donors to foreign citizens. We are talking about the period from March to December 2009.

According to the prosecutor's office, the operations were carried out in the medical center of the Azerbaijan International University. E. Abdullayev and the head doctor of the center, Dilara Ismayilova, have been charged under articles 137.3 (purchase and sale of human organs or tissues) and 308.2 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code.

The Nasimi District Court of Baku arrested Abdullayev in absentia and put him on the international wanted list. -0-
