Group of opposition parties creates the Human Rights Center (UPDATED)

On Wednesday the office Classic Popular Front Party (CPFP) hosted a meeting of 10 opposition parties to discuss the political situation in the country. They took a number of decisions.
According to the press service of Classical Popular Front Party, the meeting was attended by representatives of Musavat, the Democratic Party, Umid, Azadlig, Great Azerbaijan, Citizens and Development, Liberal, Islamic and People's parties.
After the discussions, the participants signed the Charter for Democracy, which implies the establishment of the Center for Human Rights. They discussed and adopted the Statute of Commissions of the Centre.
According to the press service of CPFPA, the Charter shall be open for accession by other parties.
The participants also supported the establishment of an international medical commission for the treatment of prisoners of conscience and political prisoners. The statement will be sent to the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General, the OSCE, the Council of Europe, European Union, and ICRC.
According to the same source, it was decided to hold on September 17 in the office of the Democratic Party a republican conference on the state of democracy and human rights, with the participation of NGOs, political parties, the media and international organizations.
Political parties have condemned the arrest of the columnist for Azadlig, Seymour Hazy, harassment of the human rights defender Oktay Gulaliyev's son and a member of the National Council Eldaniz Guliyev.
The meeting decided to prepare a special appeal in connection with allegations of the head of state on the financing of the opposition from abroad and attacks from the head of the presidential administration to freedom of expression and the media. -03D-

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%.
